At WHE, we care for a small cohort of children 2.5-5 years of age.
We currently have one, possibly two openings for Fall 2026.

School Calendar
WHE follows the Ithaca City School District calendar, but remains open during ICSD parent/teacher conference days, superintendent andprofessional learning community days. We are open during the summer with the exception of the July 4th, or nationally observed Independence Day holiday and one week in August to include the first full weekend. Our 2026-2027 calendar can be viewed here.

PLEASE NOTE: We have a dog in our home. She is very gentle and loves to be with the children. She stays near and is available for petting inside and out. If your child or you are allergic to dogs, this would not be a safe place for your family.
