Land Acknowledgment

West Hill Educare is located on the homelands of the Gayogo̱hó:no', members of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, an alliance of six sovereign nations with a historic and contemporary presence on this land. We acknowledge the painful history of dispossession, and honor the ongoing connection of Gayogo̱hó:no' people, to these lands and waters.

WHE recognizes the Haudenosaunee flag as a symbol of unity and peace.
We honor the legacy of the peacemaker Hiawatha, and the people of the Cayuga Nation.
